Is there any how-to on development server setup. I have done some changes to AppDashboard, want to test. Love to start minimal stuff as part of this.

Hello,

and for development here you mean a server where you want to work on
AppScale? Or a staging site for your application?

I assume the former, since you talk about dashboard. We usually use
vagrant, or a local private cloud: AppScale is relatively easy to work on,
since most components can be restarted individually without the need to
bring up/down the whole system. The first cut is usually a single server
so it's easy to control all the compoents. We move then to distributed
setup (4 and 8 machines are our typical test setup).

We of course have a full refression test system (we call it OCD) and we
are happy to get your branch to run through it when we have a pull
requests :)

cheers
