Is there a syntax for adding a waypoint to a PLAN that is defined as distance and direction from another waypoint, such as a VOR or AIRPORT?  For example, if I wanted to fly to a point 10 miles on the extended centerline of a runway before I make a turn?
Thanks.

That one would be easiest using the distance rings and a long press to
create a waypoint you'd name appropriately after adding to the Plan.
For a random point, just go to max zoom and it's pretty easy to be
within half a mile or so. If you need high accuracy, you could
determine and input the coordinates.

This line from Help File: You can also specify radial/DME pairs in destination like BOS275010 for BOS VOR, 275 degree radial, 10 miles.

John:  Yes, I was aware of the long-press option for entering a waypoint, but I was hoping for a text option that could easily be transferred to other NAV programs.

Zubair:  Thanks for the VOR syntax, and the referral to the HELP file and the procedure for browser viewing.  That will be a BIG help.

I'm greatly enjoying the evolution of this APP.  Great work!

VFRs,
Dennis
