Hi

i need to install mit app inventor on my own server. 

How can I use a persistent database of various app created? ( Now when i make "ant clean" it seems to delete "appinventor/appengine/build/war/WEB-INF/appengine-generated/local_db.bin" each time.)

It's possible to create user profiles with password to access to our mit app inventor copy?

The answer is to deploy it to your own google appspot instance. Then when they log in with their google acoounts, the projects are saved in app engine, your app engine, and not the fragile dev environment.
