DESCRIPTION SUMMARY As an automation engineer, understands application call flows, creates reusable automation scripts adhering to keyword and data driven automation framework principles, utilizes business analysis skills , strong scripting language skills and database skills for testing , documenting and measuring application’s functional behavior. Performs business processes testing, checking information content, calculation, storage, updates, functionality, and interaction between and among applications. Participates in complete cycle of product review, testing, documentation and correction.
EXPERIENCE NEEDS:
1.5-7 years of SQA Automation experience is required
2. 3+ year testing web-based applications using Selenium web driver and related technologies is required.
3. Advanced knowledge of scripting languages preferably C# / Java / Python / Groovy or related families of scripting languages using in Selenium is required
4. Knowledge of relational database design such as Oracle PL/SQL and general database querying principles is required.
5.Knowledge of Web development tools and browser compatibility is required.
6.Knowledge understanding of automation framework and Web UI testing design patterns is required
7.Experience with oracle E-business suite is essential
8.Experience in testing accounts payable and receivable systems is essential
9.Experience with SOAP UI and LOAD UI framework is essential
10.Experience with TFS, Visual Studio - Coded UI framework is essential
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintains detailed test plans and cases based upon business and technical requirements/specifications.
Maintains written and automated test scripts and individual project timelines.
Performs testing comprised of regression, functional and data integrity .
Performs processing exception testing, comprised of verification of error handling capabilities.
Enters defects into tracking system and re-tests corrected defects.
Maintains extensive working knowledge of company’s software application.
Adheres to the company’s software development life cycle processes and procedures.
Works closely with QA team members, developers and product management.
