API/REST/Apigee

Apigee 4G Developer

Role Description: Design, develop, and configure APIs and policies using Apigee Edge (4G), performing activities across the entire API/policy lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), delivery and maintenance.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in design, development and management of APIs and policies for large, complex systems.

Strong hands-on experience in developing APIs and policies using Apigee Edge (4g) and in migrating APIs and policies to this version.

Experience in working with datacenter, virtualization or Cloud management APIs (e.g., vCloud, AWS, Libvirt or similar APIs) would be a strong plus though not required.

Knowledge of VMware vCloud environment and networking will be a strong plus though not required.

Individual must have good communication skills; be self-sufficient in learning

 

Java (with VM experience)

Senior Java/VMware Developer

Design, develop, and configure Java applications calling VMware APIs, performing activities across the entire software lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), delivery and maintenance of the Java applications.

7+ years of strong experience in Core Java and enterprise frameworks for SQL, XML, security, etc.

Strong experience in using Java, SOAP and REST APIs is a must.

Experience in using the vSphere, vCenter and vCD Java SDKs is a strong plus.

Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and Python will be a plus.

Hand-on experience with various databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

Knowledge Cloud Computing will be a plus.

Experience in Agile development techniques.

Able to write and analyze requirements as needed in addition to developing.

Knowledge of the OpenStack APIs will be a plus.

 

Java (no VM experience)

Senior Java Developer

 

Design, develop, and configure middle and back-end Java applications performing activities across the entire software lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), delivery and maintenance of the Java applications.

 

7+ years of strong experience in Core Java and enterprise frameworks for SQL, XML, security, etc.

Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and Python will be a plus.

Proficiency in shell scripting and Python will be a plus.

Hand-on experience with various databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).

Knowledge of Cloud Computing will be a strong plus.

Experience in Agile development techniques.

Able to write and analyze requirements as needed in addition to developing.
