Dear APE Users and Masters!

I started to discover APE, and built a server on localhost with VMware (Ubuntu server with APE and AMP). Finaly everithyng worked well with the official Move demo (http://ape-project.org/demos/move/).

So then I created a new virtual server on my dedicated server, I assigned an IP and a domain (a sub domain), and installed Ubuntu server with APE but without AMP. After I copied the Move demo, I receive this message to browser console:

Resource interpreted as Script but transferred with MIME type text/html:
{%22cmd%22:%22JOIN%22,%22chl%22:2,%22params%22:{%22channels%22:%22move%22}}]".
ape.Core.min.js:1

The message appears when I click to move my circle to another position, and the reply arrives from the server.

What do you think, is it possible to configure the server, without apache to handle default MIME for js?

Any experience?

Thanks in advice,
Sandor.

Which version of ape are you using? Did you select a transport method.

With this error, does the demo works? If so I guess it can be ignored.

Dear Louis!

Thank you for your attention!

I use the APE Server 1.1.2, and yes, I use transport method JSONP (APE.Config.transport = 2;) because of cross domain service, and unfortunatly the demo is not working...

Any idea?

I knew that error rang a bell. Try to compile the latest source code available on Github. This error should be fixed in version 1.1.3-DEV.

Dear Louis!

The upgrade to 1.1.3-DEV solved the problem!

Hi Guys, finaly I seek out what was the problem, and not the version of the APE server!

If I install the APE server 1.1.2 and downlod the move demo source from here, http://ape-project.org/demos/move/ than it won't work, and giving this tiresome MIME message, but if I download the source from the Download menu, APE JavaScript Framework section, I works well!

The source code from the demo page is from a new version of the demo I made (the original source is here btw: https://github.com/lcharette/JSF-vs.-APS---Move-demo). The JSF one is still the old version it seems.

But the mime thing should be fixed in 1.1.3-DEV anyway. So it may just be a coincidence. I remember the old demo used it own config.js file. Maybe the error isn’t showing because the transport is not in fact JSONP when you test it?
