Hi ABPS users,

I use CYGWIN64 bit

The point is when it tries to compile

LD=xild AR=xiar CC=icc CXX=icpc ./fetk-build maloc punc gamer mc

checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-cygwin
checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-cygwin
checking target system type... x86_64-unknown-cygwin
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... /usr/bin/mkdir -p
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no
checking for gcc... icc
checking whether the C compiler works... no
configure: error: in `/cygdrive/I/ABPS/apbs/linux/fetk/maloc/x86_64-unkn                                                                                                                                                                                          own-cygwin':
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details
make: *** No rule to make target 'install'.  Stop.

There arises an error which points out that cygwin64 is unable to compile 32 bit code

I want to install it using this method only.

Thanks,
Neha

Hello --

Per my earlier message, I would not recommend using Cygwin for APBS on Windows.  However, I have Cc'ed others from the APBS team for their input.

Thanks,

Nathan
