Convert Code( Framework 1 to Framework 2)

Hi,

           I am new to Antlr. Just have the IntelliJ plugin and ready to code. What are the general steps to learn how to parse and convert code from one framework to another. ? Some of our legacy applications use Struts. We are moving to Spring and I was thinking of developing the converter based on the specific Struts Code I have. It is not generic.

If I have to read the Antlr book first I will.

first things first, yes, read the book, do any exercises, browse this newsgroup, learn the tool thoroughly. The next step is likely to suggest itself.

You are right. My Antlr book bought years back has gathered dust :-) For want of Antlr( or xtext) knowledge our code generator projects may be lost.
