Stop Motion
Animation is a creative, accessible, and fun way to express
your own stories. At the Arts Center's studio on the go, you
can learn how to create a short Stop Motion Animation film.
You'll start with a short but compelling story, then
manipulate your characters in creative settings, film each
frame, and complete a short Stop Motion Animation film to
share!

want to repurpose, but don't know where to start?
This one-evening workshop is perfect for you! The
class is taught by Sarah and John Trop, winners of
Flea Market Flip and owners of FunCycled, a custom furniture
repurposing store on River Street. They will show
you the basics of repainting furniture, from
prepping the piece to specialty
finishes like distressing and glazing. You'll take
home your unique upcycled creation with a

The Fence
Show is an annual opportunity for all
Arts Center members to display their work in our
galleries. This year, we accepted and displayed 382
pieces, including paintings, drawing, photography, fiber
arts, stained glass and sculpture, by 231 local artists.
There is also a separate category for young artists in
grades K-12. Kimberly Marrero, Art Advisor + Independent
Curator, served as this year's juror. Marrero curated a
smaller show from the Fence
Show called the Fence
Select, which will be on display for several
weeks after the salon style show is
dismantled.
A
large portion of the artwork is for sale. Please visit
the Front Desk for a list of available works and
