E2E and Integration Testing with Angular 4

Does anyone have experience testing Angular 4 web applications with either the Selenium or Protractor test tools.  Would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me what kind of issues they may have experienced with either tool.  And if one is recommend over the other and why.
