Google Analytics integration

After a few research I still not sure what's the proper way to integrate Google Analytics in an angular app.

I tried this module https://github.com/revolunet/angular-google-analytics

But from the docs I not clear how it deals with the stateChangeSuccess event (ui-router)

I also tried this tutorial explaining the integration using Google Tag Manager

I'm not sure what's am I doing wrong. There is an official (de facto) method to integrate google analytics in angular?
