Big Text Directive with AngularJS

I wanted to use AngularJS and jquery to make an input with a popup textarea for editing large text values.  This is my effort.

I am still novice with directives so if anybody has suggestions on how to make this more robust or elegant, please add.

This is nice. It would be better if the dropdown textarea was rich text editor.
