to Android-x86
Newbie here hoping to use your build to debug an Android Bluetooth app, with 64-bit Windoze 10 host (32GB RAM).
I downloaded Android-x86 ISO file - 809.00 MB | version: 7.1-r1 64-bit and created a new VM (using VMware® Workstation 12 Pro)
Used mostly defaults as I understood from your instructions, 4GB RAM, 8GB disk, ext4, etc.
Starts to work however (probably I did something silly):
1) VM boots into Android but stops at root prompt (see image below).
2) display has some columns repeated at far right, and blinks black-then-normal-console every 4-5 seconds.

How do I get the Android GUI to start? Any ideas about display weirdness?
Thanks!
Best Regards, Dave

Running Android-x86 under VMware may not be the best place to start -
especially if you're wanting to debug some Bluetooth problem - how about at
least using a live version running from a USB stick on some real hardware?

My first question regarding this is "what GPU are you using" (or, given that
this is under VMware, "what GPU does Android think it's running under")?

It may not seem obvious, but (6 x 5 + 5) x 5 - 55 equals 5!
