So I know that I might get flamed for asking about a generic build
that isn't supported anymore, but i've been trying to run ts_calibrate
for ICS on tablets-x86.com's generic build for a 7" carPC eGalax touch
screen and it doesnt seem to be built into the ISO anymore. It really
sucks because this is the one build that is almost complete for my
carpc which is an Acer Aspire 5570z notebook (http://support.acer.com/
acerpanam/notebook/0000/Acer/Aspire5570Z/Aspire5570Zsp2.shtml) and I
cant calibrate the screen. Is there any way to put tslib back into
the iso? I am very new to linux and android I wish I knew how to do
this, or I wouldnt be asking here. I love this site and it's really
been a blessing to find an OS that is awesome for in car use. Please
let me know what I can do to make this happen! thanks

Take a look at the eeepc target. You'll find following script device/asus/common/asus_info and change it so that your device will be recognized as valid. This is necessary to set BOARD_USES_TSLIB properly.

Add this to your device.mk

# Get the touchscreen calibration tool
$(call inherit-product-if-exists,external/tslib/tslib.mk)

Make sure you have /data/system/tslib/ folder created.
