Baytrail users please provide DSDT

I try to implement better hardware support for Baytrail based tablets and need your help. Please provide the acpi DSDT table for your tablet. You can dump it easily by downloading the tools from here: https://acpica.org/downloads/binary-tools

Open a CMD window where you downloaded the tools and run: acpidump -b

A number of .dat files are created in the same directory, I only need dsdt.dat

Attach it to your reply and write which tablet you use. Thanks for your help!

Hi, thx for posting your dsdt dump. I try to add missing drivers, e.g. camera, sensor, button array, batt, charger etc and also try to solve issues like sound not working on various baytrail devices etc. The dsdt provides a lot of information how the hw peripherals are connected.

Attaching DSDT for Notion Ink Cain 10'' Tablet. 

It's a 32bit UEFI locked WIndows 8.1  device. Only the display works when androidx86 kitkat version in loaded into a usb and booted in live mode. Didn't try to install. Only video works buttery smooth for now.

Thanks all who posted or emailed me your dsdt. I should have asked it in the first place, but I need to know what works and not works for you with a recent image. Here's a short checklist: graphics, hdmi, adjust brightness, internal emmc,sd card reader, volume/power buttons, sound, power off/reboot, suspend, battery, wifi, bluetooth, rear camera, front camera, accelerometer (for auto screen orientation), touchscreen.

For the sensors, I'm going to assume that by working, you mean sensor output can be read from /sys/bus/iio/devices/stuff (or similar directories), not that, say, autorotation/autobrightness doesn't work but sensor does output correctly (my case on the Venue 8 Pro).

By working, do you also mean that it's working on at least either Kitkat or Lollipop, but not necessarily both? Suspend (again, for me) works on Kitkat, but not on Lollipop (it used to spit out something about i965_dri.so, but it's something else now).

Off the top of my head, just bluetooth and both the front and rear cameras.

Wifi breaks after a while, but I'm not sure where to pinpoint the cause at. Buttons work, I just need to add in the correct kernel options when compiling.

graphics - usually blank screen after KMS switch, rarely boots normally. On Ubuntu this is fixed by switching from desktop to virtual console and back.
hdmi - no way to test
adjust brightness - doesn't work
internal emmc - not sure

sound - works
poweroff/reboot - works
suspend - doesn't work, restarts android
wifi - works after moving firmware file and reloading module

I have the same blank screen after KMS problem with my Voyo A1 Mini tablet. I could solve it by adding a lowres mode set line to the grub config. It is included in the latest image I shared on googledrive a few days ago (see my 8723BS wifi driver topic).

sdcard is seen, did not set up, is NTFS so I didn't try, popup says nonsupported FS, which IIRC is the correct answer.

Basically ready for install, i'm very likely to return my new TW802 and get the ~6 month old 10" instead.

(the 8" is nice but too small to be usable running Win8.1 for this old dude, plus the 10" has a USB3 port)

The only non-functional parts are 

BT/FM radio parts of the RTL8723BS chip.
Camera, no camera app in build, but Google Camera installed from play did not find hardware.

Will follow with acpi data dump.

I'm attaching dsdt.dat dumped from my Livefan F8C.

Z3735D, 2GB, 64GB storage.

Did managed to install Ubuntu 14.04 on it, but finally gave in after unable to get embedded wifi to work.

Didn't seriously try, only took the free ride with installed EFI-enabled grub to boot Android-x86, so can't remember what was exactly working (or not).

You need to create the file
/data/misc/tscal/pointercal
and run TSCalibration2.

Please read the function create_pointercal()
and function init_tscal() in /etc/init.sh
to understand how to make calibration
work for your touch.
And then provide a patch.

Here are 2 patches (for the device and the kernel) that are working on my clean lollipop-x86 sources

it implements the modifications on init.sh and

add a new kernel module in the staging sections of the kernel drivers

Now touchscreen is working.

However it is only single touch and extremely inaccurate at th edges

to add another init_touchscreen function.
It can be merged into init_tscal directly.
I've made the modification and applied it.

For the kernel patch, please provide a clean patch

dsdt_orig is the decompiled original untouched DSDT.

dsdt_mod is modified to fix the following issues that did not work in the original:
- Volume Buttons (RTC IRQ edit)
- Power button (GPIO Pin edit)
- Sound (IRQ reorder)

dsdt_patch is just a diff of the two.

I used https://github.com/maurossi/linux/tree/kernel-4.8 ，from 4.8 rc4 to 4.8，get sound work two months . these upstream patch and “clk: x86: Add Atom PMC platform clocks” patch .

no one say DSDT patch can get sound work on 4.4 kernel ， zefie altimitmine is lucky .

From my GPD WIN, x7-Z8700 (Cherry Trail?)

Test results with CM13/Android 6.0 x64

No bootia32.efi needed, can boot directly without any trick from UEFI BIOS
Power button and volume buttons are not working, nor responding with getevent
No sound, but alsa_aplay did saw audio devices coming up, and alsa_amixer can see devices, so maybe just unmute should already do
Gyroscope is not working, need to use app to change orientation to landscape by hand
Wifi is slow (maybe just because of slow SD card reader speed)
Touchscreen, joypad knobs, direction and buttons, keyboard are functioning well

graphics - working,

hdmi - not checked,

adjust brightness - working,

internal emmc - working,

sd card reader - not checked,

volume/power buttons - not working,

sound - not working,

power off/reboot - working,

suspend - working,

battery - not working,

wifi - working,

Bluetooth - not working,

rear camera - not working,

front camera - not working,

accelerometer (for auto screen orientation) - working but INVERTED,

touchscreen - working

Here dump from Lenovo yoga tablet 2 830lc, Intel® Atom™ Z3745. From stock Android firmware, working all.

The file attached is the dsdt.dat generated from Windows 10 32bit.

I have tested the tablet with Android x86 6.0 r2 in live mode (from usb).

Only screen is working, where I can only browse with keyboard and mouse. Touchpad is not working.

Wifi, rotate, battery don't work.

do not work:

Touch, Sound, Bluetooth, Vol+- power button, sdcard, hdmi, headphone, camera

Acer W1-810 Windows tablet

CPU: Intel baytrail Z3735G

RAM: 1GB

Wifi: Site mentions "Acer Nplify 802.11b/g/n" not sure if it is accurate
