Hi,
with radeonsi stock mesa 17.0.x driver of marshmallow-x86
HD7750 and HD7950 were used for testing.
So if you are using marshmallow-x86, those were the ones where some tests were performed.
The same spot testing was perfomed for mesa 17.1.x bundled with nougat-x86
and with 17.2.0rc4/17.3.0devel (which need llvm39 as mandatory).
So current status is that GCN 1.0 was tested and it is currently affected by lack of RGBX/RGBA visible in some 2D/3D texture rendered as black
due to error 0x3003 but problem affects only the specific applications using RGBX/RGBA e.g. Basemark ES2 and Rajawali examples

if you want to try with newer AMD GPUs gralloc_drm_radeon.c may not be up to date, but I don't even know up to which part may boot,
while you may try on GCN 1.1/1.2 with radeondrmfb or with amdgpudrmfb.
The latter was never tested on newer AMD GPUs, I just tried it with HD7950 thanks to kernel 4.11 which gives the option to use amdgpudrmfb on Southern Islands parts
So the honest answer is I don't know which is the newest AMD GPUs may be working at this point.
We may ask to forum participants if they have info/statistics about those GPUs.
