How to troubleshoot SSL issues on android platform

Hello everyone, 

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but couldn't find a more fitting forum.

I'm having issues with ssl in Oreo and I'm trying to find a way to see system ssl logs for the android platform that will help me pin point the cause (similar to what you would get in a regular JVM with '-Djavax.net.debug=all -Dssl.debug=true' to get an idea). I'm interested if all is good with ssl handshake as the application level logs don't really help.

Any ideas?
