Hi,

Actually, android does support ad hoc networks already. Its fully supported by the TI driver. It is not however configurable from the GUI, or SDK. If you modify tiwlan.ini, set the ad hoc flag, and reload the wlan module using wlan_loader you will have your wifi device in ad hoc mode.

Thanks,
Anders

Hi,Anders

According to your dialog,i have some questions need your help.

1.At present, the Android platform can not support create a ad-hoc network ?When support?

2.WPA-Enterprise and WPS don't support also?that is to say ,the 802.1x can not be support on Android platform ?

Thanks a lot

We're working on adding support for ad-hoc networks, but enterprise and WPS
are lower priority.

If you're up for it, enterprise could be a low hanging fruit given
wpa_supplicant already supports it. :)  Not sure about its support for WPS
though.
