How to activate FPS logging on android 5?

Hallo

I'm trying to a get the FPS rate from SurfaceFlinger on Android L. It was easy on Android K just to call the Service for that.

But on L it is not working anymore.

Does anybody has an idea how it is possible to log FPS rate on Android L??

I know how to turn the counter on, but to log it, I dont.

to turn the counter on in OS go to settings and open "Developer Options" or "Developer" in there somewhere it should say something like "Show Device Status".
