Sending DTMF commands when call get connected

Hi,

I have requirement to place a call and when the call get connected and IVR is played send the DTMF code.

Does any one know a way do that, other than dial string with DTMF keys using soft pause "," and dial string with DTMF keys using hard pause ";".

Is that not possible at all?
