Hi,
From Android O the Treble feature introduction there will be software updates from Google on the framework regardless of Vendor changes.

Does it mean

1. Any changes in AOSP which are still CTS compliant will be broken after an upgrade from Google not involving the Vendor ?
2. With Treble are AOSP changes (CTS compliant) still Possible or Advisible ?
3. How does one overlay AOSP app with custom App to reduce such a scenario ?

Please also let me know if I am 'imagining things' and some of these are not ideal realtime scenarios.

This is ideal case scenario. Treble is the first step towards this goal.

Nope. Treble guarantees that all changes will be backward compliant meaning CTS would not be broken.

Eventually, there will be a more overlay sort of approach advised imo. But till such an explicit advise comes through anybody could change AOSP as they want :)

Didn't understand this question..

Please see above.
