Is there a way to upgrade the CMAKE in NDK? Currently have 3.6 but 3.7 is needed

I tried to do it in a similar way I do my Linux Ubuntu machine but failed.  I do it on my linux with these steps: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/cvs/general/cmake.html

Has anyone done this successfully?

No, our toolchain file is currently only compatible with 3.6. Fixing that is in the to-do list.
