Tag traffic using grpc in C++

Hello all, I'd like to know how many bytes are transmitted using grpc in C++. Java has TrafficStats#setThreadStatsTag to tag the traffic and read it later. Is there any similar solution in C++?

I tried to use JNI to invoke Java TrafficStats to tag the traffic, it did not work.
