I want my devices with Android 2.2 porting to version 4.4. Can I use the init.rc file of Android 2.2 for Android version 4.4?

Quick question, what is the appropriate forum android emulator questions? I need to ask if the emulator for kitkat on nexus 7 or 10 supports wifi, or if it is on the roadmap and what timeframe?

Must use the emulator and not native hardware for peer to peer aps and I need to develop any wifi support needed in the emulator. Networking is supported.
