Display gcm message arrival time near chat bubble

I'm working on a chat application via gcm. Iwant to show the message time like whatsapp `as i have added an attachment sample.I want to display like 5:20 pm and so on

Please guys help me out im really stuck for days.

Its unclear what timestamp you would be using. If you just want received time, you can take the time on the device when you receive the intent. If you want sent time from the remote client you would need to include that information with your messages.
