Delivery receipts are sent in 10 messages interval

Hello! I would like to ask more about delivery receipts feature:

 

Documentation says:  ...CCS sends a delivery receipt when a device confirms that it received a particular message... , so I was testing it and for me it works in a strange way. Receipts are sent only when I send 10messages in a row from one device (all receipts are sent after 10th message)...or  when I send a message and after that I receive message from other device...in this case, the receipt for my message is sent, but for the other device is pending until I reply or until another 10 messages.

The problem is that receipts are not sent immediately. Before this, I implemented my custom delivery receipt system...and it was much faster than this native solution, so I'm suprised :/

Is it normal behaviour?

Does CCS really sends receipts immediately or it's device problem- device confirms delivery after some iterations?

Could you say something more about it?

Thank you for the feedback, what you observed was actually the current behavior because we tried to optimize for efficient battery usage.

However, what you expected is likely more relevant to devs, hence, we have put this in our feature list so that delivery receipt will be sent to the server as soon as the device confirms the receipt.
