While trying to create a new app from https://developers.google.com/mobile/add, I keep getting this error - "You submitted a bad request. Try again.". The form doesn't give any other useful info.

How to fix this?

I checked the XHR response. It says:

  1. message"Need more information to create Scion Account status: SERVICE_STATUS_ENABLED"
  2. status400

Hi,

I didn't want to start new topic, so I'll just use this one, because it's the same message.

When I select existing app (App name), I'm getting this message: "You submitted a bad request. Try again.". Of course trying again doesn't help. The XHR response is:

{"status":400,"message":"com.google.apps.framework.request.StatusException: \u003ceye3 title\u003d\u0027INVALID_ARGUMENT\u0027/\u003e generic::INVALID_ARGUMENT: "}

When I go ahead and add the Android package name anyway, when I click on Continue I get:

{"status":409,"message":"Client already exists."}

When I create completely new package name I didn't try yet, I can continue, select Cloud messaging, click Generate configuration files, then click Download google-services.json, I get redirected to a page with this content:

{ "code": 3, "errorSpace": "generic", "placeholders": { "trackingId": "5415761537373639958" }, "status": 400, "message": "backend error" }

Any idea how to fix it?

Thanks
Ondra

Hi,

I suggest you create a project in the firebase console (https://firebase.google.com)
(they can handle both GCM and FCM issues)
