Compiler and library versions to build Android 4.0.3

I have a trouble building Android 4.0.3 ICS on Ubuntu 10.04, getting compiler errors mainly over one particular library (zlib). As far as I understood, it may be due to a compiler and library incompatibility. Since this particular version of Android is pretty much old now, I suppose it was built with older version of gcc and required libraries. Now, my question is...does anybody know which exact versions I have to download?
