Nexus 5X Bluetooth Vendor issue

Hello,

I'm having a problem building AOSP, I do get the classic "contact your manufacturer" message, but the most disconcerting is that the BT radio doesn't work at all.  I get WiFi, but the BT is off and will not turn on.  I get a lot of "bt_vendor" messages in logcat, but ultimately they say BT cannot be enabled.  Is there some matching I need to do with my AOSP branch and the factory build vendor image? 

Any ideas?
