Why adb 1.0.26 see devices as offline?

Hello. I installed adb version 1.0.26.

When I connect device with android 6.0.1 to PC and run adb devices command I see this:

# /home/froyo/out/host/linux-x86/bin/adb devices

List of devices attached

05157df5b4e45c02 offline

If I connect device with android 4.4.2, adb doesn't see it at all.

Both devices are in debug mode.

Moreover, devices don't ask to confirm something about trust.

Does there is no backward compability?

Or maybe problem in something other?
