Build SDK avoiding recompiling apps

Dear all,

i'm writing some modifications to the Android SDK (framework/base).

However, the development cycle takes a lot of time (12-13 minutes) because recompiling with "make" also recompile all the applications included.

I would like to speed up the process, since the modification that i make to the sdk are mild (logging and so on), i'm wandering if recompiling all the apps is really needed or can be avoided.
