Hi all,

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow MR1 source code is now available on the marshmallow-mr1-release branch. The following builds, tags, and devices are supported:
- MMB29K, android-6.0.1_r1, Nexus 5, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (flo/deb), Nexus 9 (volantis/volantisg)
- MMB29M, android-6.0.1_r3, Nexus 6P and Nexus Player

The corresponding factory image and proprietary binaries are available at

We pushed a reference marshmallow-mr1-dev branch.

Over the next few days, we'll also merge marshmallow-mr1 into AOSP master. Corresponding kernel updates will also be posted. I'll update this post when each of these become available.

Thanks!

Hello,

thank you, can you be more precise when ryu/dragon's kernel & device tree sources gonna be released ? May it take a couple of months or maybe even longer  ?

Maxime,
I don't speak for the AOSP build and release team
(I'm just one of the volunteer moderators of this group).
But in my experience, they are working as hard and fast as possible
to deliver to you what you need. Yet they are not always able to predict ahead of time when
exactly they can finish their process.

You just posted android-6.0.1_r30, the Marshmallow MR2 release.
But now
android-6.0.1_r31 is released
under
Marshmallow MR1 (the subject said).
I confused.

What's the latest Marshmallow release exactly?

After update to android-6.0.1_r31 I was surprised to find
in the tablet mode the Back and Home virtual keys
are moved to the left side while the Recent Apps key
is moved the the right side.
Such a UI changed is not normal in this minor update.

Is it expected?
