hammerhead, missing 0acc96d revision in kernel/msm

We are trying to checkout the sources used to build the latest hammerhead kernel image for M (android-6.0.0_r26).

Based on the following commit message from "device/lge/hammerhead-kernel", the revision id should be "0acc96d".

Unfortunately, that commit doesn't seem to exist in the repository "kernel/msm" (perhaps someone forgot to push that commit up).

Does anyone know how get the sources used to build the latest hammerhead kernel for M?

Any suggestions, anyone?

If the kernel sources for the hammerhead M kernel image are not publicly available, then I think this is a violation of the GPL.
