Hi everybody,

It's that time of the month again! I am very happy to announce that tomorrow's AmsterdamJS is going to be truly great, and your response to it has been nothing short of amazing. We are expecting lots of attendance, lots of beer, amazing talks (we just got confirmation from our third speaker: Ben Noordhuis!) and a great atmosphere to share some good JavaScript stories.

The final program looks more or less like that:

19:00

Walk in, coffee, beer etc.

19:30

start meet-up, opening talk by Sergi Mansilla from Cloud9 IDE

19:40

First Speaker: David Durman

Meet FigurePool.com, a coming-soon online HTML 5 diagramming editor and browser built from ground up in JavaScript.

Get to know the technologies behind FigurePool from the frontend and backend sides to a custom server configuration around NodeJS based application and services.

 20:10

Second Speaker: Nikolai Onken from Uxebu

Nikolai is going to show us BonsaiJS (http://bonsaijs.org/), the new graphical library that the Uxebu guys have created to help them, among other things, to convert Flash to HTML5 in their new online app, https://www.pixelplant.com. It looks amazing!

20:40

Break. Coffee, beer, etc.

21:00

Third Speaker: Ben Noordhuis from Cloud9 IDE

Ben, a Node.js core developer, does a retrospective on node.js:

 * how and why did node.js get to be?

 * what has happened along the way?

 * where are we going?

 * what problems does node.js solve or try to solve?

 * what are node's main competitors and how does it hold up to them?

Also, I'd like to ask to the ones that won't be able to join but have RSVPd to un-confirm, so that people who can come will be able to RSVP.

Thanks, and see you tomorrow!

Sergi
