Linux ODBC problem

Hello,

I'm trying to access a MySQL database on my 64bit Linux Mint installation from AMPL. I'm using AMPL Student Version 20140226 (Linux x86_32) and I have also installed the ampltabl.dll in the same directory as ampl.

The problem is that this only loads the tableproxy handler but not the odbc handler. Here is the ampl-output:

ampl: display _HANDLERS;

set _HANDLERS := tab bit tableproxy;

Is there any way to fix this?

See https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/ampl/a2hf5-P2Kjw. Since you use Linux Mint, you probably need libodbc.so.1 variant of the table handler.
