Hi,
I tried to solve a constrained programming model using NEOS  solver. But, regardless of the solver i use, the same error comes: Error (-11) in /opt/ampl/ampl -R amplin
Can someone tell me what this signifies?
Thank you.

NEOS doesn't have any constraint programming solvers. Normally a solver gives an error if it sees an unsupported construct. Is "Error (-11) in /opt/ampl/ampl -R amplin" all output that you get in which could you post your AMPL code? Then we could check if this is an issue with AMPL.

HTH,
Victor

@Victor, thank you, I was under the impression that NEOS would have solvers for constrained programming.
I modified the code to have simpler logical constraints with fewer "and' and "or" statements in one constraint and now it is working again with "gecode" solver itself.
So, I don't need NEOS solver and the problem is solved.

Thank you again,
Manu Narayanan.
