Just to prove the moon survived it’s encounter with the Sun and was not eaten by the monster here is an image of the moon & Venus conjunction tonight

The moon is around 8% illuminated. No chance of seeing it last night due to cloud.

That was a lovely image John.

I was looking out of the bus this evening coming back from Old Coulsdon.

It was a lovely site to see a slither of the Moon and Venus over the houses. Would have made a lovely image.
