So! Titans Return has shown us some pretty cool stuff. Namely, Galvatron, not-Astrotrain, and soon-to-be-Soundwave. I personally think that the return of the Headmaster gimmick is pretty cool. By far, my favorite figure so far is Blaster (and by extent, his cassettes.)

What do you people think? Are you excited for Titans Return, or is the Transformers brand RUINED FOREVER?

I'm excited about the individual toys we've seen so far. We've needed a big Galvatron for a while, and I love that he turns into a proper cannon and not a silly tank or spider-thing. Blaster was one of the biggest toys from the G1 line, so it's going to be nice to get a huge version of him as well.

I'm not crazy about every character being a Headmaster, but if I don't like the functionality of the toys, I can just choose to ignore that gimmick. Even I recognize it's ridiculous to complain about extra things the toys can do. (I'd have been more upset if the new version of Brainstorm, for example, had not been a Headmaster.)

I'm so stoked about the new Skullcruncher and Hardhead toys. Never in a million years did I expect Hasbro to pay tribute to those characters. They both look like exceptionally-designed third-party toys.

And then of course there's Fortress Maximus. In some ways it will be like buying a second Titan-class Metroplex (I feel so decadent just saying that) but it looks different enough to be interesting in its own right.

Zob (glad I'm not planning to buy very much Star Wars stuff... because Hasbro is already getting enough of my money next year as it is)

This. I'm really impressed with the molding quality we've seen so far. Galvy's cannon is awesome looking, for sure. Skullcruncher looks absolutely gorgeous, despite his (sadly) unarticulated tailshield.

Hardhead is meh. Good looking figure, but I've never connected with the character. I'm excited to see what original characters they bring into this mix. (Sentinel Prime nonwithstanding.)

Also, there's a rumor going around that the second figure to go with Sentinel is gonna be Powermaster Prime.
