Sorry to ask questions again; I just have these two:

1) Did the Marvel UK G1 comics adapt the actual cartoon TFTM itself, or the 3-issue comic-adaption to its continuity?

2) What is the list again of the Autobots who were all supposed to have been killed off in TFTM (other than the ones we know actually died), like in the original script or wherever?

I'm sure that, officially, it was the comic adaptation. However, it's clear from Simon Furman liked The Transformers: the Movie, and he snuck references into his writing from the animated film that were NOT in the comics adaptation. So, uh, sorta kinda both, after a fashion.

Oh, geez. Let's see...

In one early version of the script, during the Autobot City battle, Thundercracker gets chopped in half by Bluestreak using a lightsaber.

Also in an early script, Gears is blasted to bits by Cyclonus during Galvatron's strafe attack on Autobot City. Windcharger also gets killed in this scene and it rains pieces of Windcharger all over Blaster.

Red Alert gets a storyboarded death scene that was never animated. He is shot in the back during Devastator's attack on Autobot City.

There's another storyboarded scene during the Autobot City battle where Mirage shoots Bombshell in the back (and kills him, since Thundercracker is seen carrying his dead body later) but then Megatron retaliates and blasts Mirage, presumably killing him.

There are also alternate deaths in the early iterations of the movie. In one version of the script, Brawn is chewed to death by the Insecticons. In a variation on the shuttle scene, Ironhide and Ratchet are melted together.

There are probably ones I'm forgetting about. My daughter wants me to put some doll shoes on her toy dinosaur.
