If Congress can grow some Gonads that won't happen.

It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard
the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all
ages who mean to govern well, but *They mean to govern*. They promise to
be good masters, *but they mean to be masters*. Daniel Webster

Considering Obama's penchant for presidential directives, and his
anti-conservative agenda, no doubt he will try to choose the make-up
of the Supreme Court. But even in relatively uncontested years, there
is a process that involves approval by the U.S. Senate. Must be there
will be all kinds of delays that will be barriers, including outright
rejection of nominees. So my guess is that Obama will try to put
someone up that is very desirable to all. A different tactic might be
to name someone from his administration, like Eric Holder, who would
not be acceptable, but be able to voice political views; then name
someone he really wants.

It looks like more than one of the justices will be replaced, meaning
that the Supreme Court is going to be an important political and
social focus for the next president. Could be this will be brought up
by Democrats, will voice more in their progressive agenda, and at the
same time be pointing at the miscarriage of justice republicans will
dial in.

President Obama said he wanted to put Janet Napolitano on the SC. Sonia
Sotamayor had no law degree, so the precedent was set to put people on
the bench who are there for ideological reasons, rather than for
knowledge of law. Hussein wants judges who support the current
anti-white, anti-constitutional, pro-executive fiat decree type of
governance -- perhaps also favoring someone who is queer and a member of
a minority group with grievances against Whitey.

They have woken up and smelled the agenda: the ship has an iceberg

Marxism – which put it there.

Right. She was recently taunted by some critics for threatening to
prosecute anyone who had anything bad to say about Muslims in the
immediate aftermath of the San Bernardino jihad shootings, IIRC. We're
supposed to have the rule of law, not the rule of women of color with a
pro-Muslim agenda.

I had hopes for Napolitano at one time. She had a good record of
repatriating wets in Arizona but she appears to have caught the Obama
virus. She is a J.D. and has practiced, most notably as Anita Hill's lawyer.

That would leave McConnell with his ass hanging out since he flipped for
her AG confirmation. It was still 56 to 43 and it would be even bloodier
this time. Srinivasan would be a good choice. His confirmation to the
Appeals court was 97 to 0; it would be hard for the Republicans to walk
that back. Besides, he plays his cards very close to the vest and could
well be Obama's Souter.
