PLACERVILLE, Calif. (KCRA) —
A registered sex offender was arrested after he exposed himself
to a mother and her 18-month-old daughter last Thursday at the
Placerville Library, the Placerville Police Department said.
Placerville police said Gabriel Armenta starting speaking to a
mother and her daughter about 10 a.m. and then exposed himself
in front of them. Officers found Armenta inside the library and
arrested him on a charge of indecent exposure.
He was booked into the El Dorado County Jail on $275,000 bail.
Armenta is a registered sex offender within the city of
Placerville and has a prior conviction for the same offense,
police said.
Due to his prior conviction, Armenta faces a felony charge in
connection with this incident.
