a co-worker claims that kumon has helped their child greatly by
building the childs confidence and improving his study habits

anyone had similar experience or feedback on the kumon program?

I was in a Kumon program here in backwater (Baton Rouge) Louisiana in
fouth and fifth grade. My classes test scores were all in the 98 to 99
percentile, I learned my basic math skills through pre-algabra in those
two grade levels.

In otherwords - it works.

You think Baton Rouge is backwater ..... try Lafayette. The public
school system here is nothing short of indescribable. >:-(
