How will they destroy him? He's playing daily. As long as they keep him
away from their off season strength training.
Think about Cespadas off season program, his favorite exercise, directed by
their trainers was heavy squats. It is incredibly likely that his heavy
leg work has led to these chronic hamstring and leg injuries. That's an example.
The team would be better off having ballet lessons and practice, gymnastics,
yoga, stretching, running, and some weight training, but not at excessive
weights. Tight tissues are dangerous.
ALL the METS starting pitchers have arm injuries.
Leg injuries are also very common. That means their connective tissues
are simply too tight.
These aren't injuries like broken legs, they are all soft tissue injuries.
BTW, it's still May, they still are in 2nd place, they should not give up.
