4. The DH being installed in the NL. There was enough movement on this
behind the scenes already that it was a huge consideration in why the
Mets agreed to take on the final five years of Robinson Cano’s contract,
believing a DH would be in the NL by the time the last two or three
seasons came along. The union also believes NL teams would be more
willing to make longer free-agent bids for players such as Bryce Harper
and Manny Machado if they knew those players could still hit in the
waning years if their fielding skills deteriorated.

Has this been formalized? The NL is going to use the dh?

As for the DH. When it started I was against it.
It's not going away, fans want to watch their old stars.

Many of the pitches have not batted since high school, and it's silly
for them to bat.

No one goes to the park to watch a pitcher bat.

Many will go to watch an older star bat.

It's still a business.

No - it is enjoyable and often the best part of the game when they bat.

Bartolo Colon is a steroid cheat. I asume at this point in his career he
is clean and he has provided a section of his own for the Mets this, the
2015, season.

Here he is chasing a base runner down... and this was just the beginning
Behind the back flip
The most exciting At Bat in Baseball
They are timing Colon with a Sun Dial
Lose the Helmet
Take the Ball home
Carry the bat to first
And throw a shutout
