(#YT)&*#GYFR_*FG$#G)*#$F Forgot to set the VCR for tonight...missed it.

Anyone got a copy on tape in the Chicago area so I can see it before the
next season break?

BTW, saw Blade tonight. If one can suspend disbelief enough to overlook
some rather obvious inconsitancies, a fun film. I would definitely suggest
seeing it on the big screen now that it is in the cheap theatres...

Another fun review, the Fujitsu Lifebook C340 Notebook Computer. For $1200
(after a $100 rebate at Best Buy) this little P2/233 is pretty sweet. Linux
installed nicely and relatively painlessly with the only exception being
the modem, which is apparently some nasty Ninja Disguised WinModem with
special secret W'hin98 Stealth COM port technology, which I will bypass by
adding an additional PCMCIA Modem for use with Linux.

W'hin98, which came loaded on the thing, is annoying and I hate it as much
as I thought I would, but at least it is allowing me to access the net
while I am waiting for the Linux Modem Configuration, plus it allows me to
play Final Fantasy VII in full screen mode with enough speed to enjoy it. I
would replace 98 with 95 or NT4.0 if I can find a DOS based CD-ROM driver
for the Fujitsu CD-ROM so I can install one of them....

I got the feeling that that entire ep was written just to justify the
camera concept. And okay, the idea of doing every scene in one long shot
without edits has some good points (better performances from the actors,
who get to follow the plot in real time), if the writing's not up to
snuff, it just comes off looking gimmicky.

And if the shots are TOO long, we can't see them in the UK. :)
