The roads SHOULD have been built BEFORE the development went in. Now,
eminent domain makes the COST PROHIBITIVE. We NEED those roads, but the
eminent domain costs make it prohibitive to built. The roads should have
been built before development went in, but the enviromentalists torpedoed
then in the 1980s.
The completion of Interstate 5 between Sacramento and Stockton was delayed
for a long time because evironmentalists started crying about wetlands. That
road needed to be built, and WAS built, FUCK wetlands.
Of couree, one superhighway in Mexico that would mostly be in rural areas of
the country was shut down by enviromentalists because they started crying
about wetlands.
The Costera highway was originally planned to go from San Luis, Sonora down
to Guaymas, and was intended to make a more direct route for from California
driving to Central Mexico, as it would take a day of the trip each way. I
say BUILD that highway, FUCK wetlands.
