But he was not disfellowshipped. In fact the Awake came out with a story after
that saying that Michael Jackson apologized for the video. So he was good for
awhile. He even went out in 'service,' somewhat disguised, so no one would
recognize him. But that didn't last for long. Eventually he was in the news
constantly and the governing body wanted nothing to do with him.
