younger lead and played the remainder of the years.

Mexico populated by ferocious dinosaurs. James Franciscus plays a
wild-west showman who leads his riding and roping crew into The Valley of
Gwangi, and the boys are determined to bring one back alive. Thanks to
the wizardry of Ray Harryhausen and his technical team, these fantastic
creatures lunge and fight in scene after spectacular scene, including an

Just watch, I'll outgross Steve McQueen and James Coburn," he declared.
They were both Bruce's students and each had told him that he could never
reach their star status because he was Chinese. Part of his plan to prove
them wrong involved another pupil, the Oscar- winning screenwriter
Stirling Silliphant, who proved to be a staunch Lee ally. Silliphant
wrote a special part for Bruce in the ABC-TV show, Longstreet. After the
show's two-hour pilot episode, "The Way of the Intercepting Fist," Bruce
got more fan mail than James Franciscus, the leading man. That episode
was shown to Raymond Chow in Hong Kong. The rest, as they say, is
history.

LAST SHARK, THE

A.k.a. U'ULTIMO SQUALO, THE LAST JAWS, GREAT WHITE.

Having just completed a shark film (THE SHARK HUNTER), Castellari must
have seemed the perfect choice for this rip-off of JAWS and JAWS 2. In
fact, this was such a blatant rip-off of JAWS that Universal Studios,
producers of the original film, sued the filmmakers and succeeded in
stopping continued exhibition of the film. See if you agree: A local
politician who wont listen to reason about the danger of shark attacks
because of the public relations risk, and a diffident shark expert who,
together with a old man of the sea type, manages to put an end to the
marauding shark, though at the cost of the latter's life. The only
difference between the films is that this one has much more on-screen
mutilation and mayhem, but what would you expect from an Italian rip-off?
Starring James Franciscus and Vic Morrow. (1981) Widescreen, in English.

Actually James F. was an actor. For a time he played a blind detective on TV.

I believe Sam is giving us another clue as to whom he really is. He is
telling us that he is the fellow who looks like James Franciscus . .
.(blond, fair featured, handsome) in the first edition of the Eck World
News.

Does anyone have a first copy of the EWN . . . I long ago lost mine:)
For some reason Sam wants us to know who he really is . . . it'd be a
shame not to take him up on it:)

Welp, I doubt they anticipated your respectful taking of it three
