Heltah Skeltah, Lost Boyz, Montell Jordan and Case also performed.
Damn I know Heltah Skeltah ripped shiT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think it would be pretty funny if Foxxxy and Jeru battled each other.
Just picturing the look on that woman's face while Jeru rips her apart
on the microphone is actually making me laugh out loud!!

are we talking in an off the head i battle, if you
are, jeru is as wack as nas is, who could probably be taken
out by any halfway decent mc from kentucky.
They do not come off the top very well, they write very well,
but jeru can't be stopped on the street and drop
something even close to the level he writes at.
sad but true. doesn't make them any less of mc's
but they aren't off the top/freestyle mc's.
And i hate to say it, in a off the head battle
foxy over jeru.

Damn right. Especially with "Operation Lockdown".

Well Jeru performed last year at carnival in London. He ripped it.
While Foxxxy had to take a little break after every four lines of her
freestyle, Jeru would bring "hip-hop" home.

Well I like the idea put forward by De La when they were out in
London. That any MC with skills would be able to ryhme without ANY
references to cars, designer wears, girls etc. if they were asked to.
Now if that condition was placed on a battle between Jeru and Foxxy
then Jeru would win hands down as Foxxxy would be standing on stage
totally silent!
Actually, since you mentioned it, Jeru might not be that great an MC off
the top of the head (I don't think I've ever seen or heard about him
battle anybody), BUT I guarantee Foxxy will NOT win the battle. It just
won't happen. It can't!!!!!

WHAT!!!!
Hold up...
This is PMA not JANE YI.
Yo, Foxxy Brown over Jeru.
i hope your talking about PAM GRIER.
Jeru can rip it.
i was a UMD party and he tore it up.
dudes stepped to him and he clearly
came with the positive rhymes.
Unfortunatley Brown's rhymes are written unless you knwo her
personal;ly and can prove us otherwise.
no doubt he's also a good poet but Foxxy
doesn't even write her own stuff.
i'd like to hear others opinions on this matter

ARE WE FUCKIN KIDDING???!!! Do you realize we are comparing some trick
ass slut who gets Biggie to write her rhymes for her to one of the most
positive intelligent artists (ever?)."you're playin yourself"

What the fuck is this nonsense? Foxxy over Jeru? I don't care if you like
Foxxy better. Jeru is the real
deal all the way around. You guys are all fucking stupid to even make the
god damn comparrison.

are you failing to understand what is going on here?
we aren't comparing a foxy brown album to a jeru album,
we are talking about an mc battle, and unless you have
some documentation on either of their battle skills
You can not make a determination. Jeru has proven on the
radio, and has admitted it several times in interviews
that he doesn't freestyle well. Foxy? who knows, but if she
can sound at least halfway decent on a battle tip, jeru would
be taken. He is not big competition when it comes to battling.
i might even say none of the major label east coast mc's
are really great freestyle mc's. they kick a lot of prewrittens
that you've never heard until the single drops. it's those
underground independent nyc mc's that really hold nyc down.

I only have heard one foxy brown freestyle, but from that, personally
I think said battle would be close and not very fun to listen to.

hold her own and krs is in there too.

so what's your definition of a real mc?
Of all the places to diss Jeru and Tupac she chooses london.
How did you all find out foxxy didn't write her own lyrics?
I would assume that his definition of a real mc is "someone who writes his/her own lyrics".

if you check tony touch tape 50, you can hear jeru kicking a real
freestyle over the "how many mics" beat...the ONLY emcee on the entire
tape to kick a true one. his vocal presence alone was enough to make it
sound dope...typical off-the-dome lyrics, but not bad by any means. this
leads me to believe that jeru has been working on his freestyle skills....
I heard she's been running all over the US screaming that "I write my
own lyrics shit and anyone who doesn't think so is a playa-hata".
