I don't want PurityScan and can't get rid of it. Gator I kinda like because
it is useful to me. But maybe it is more bad for me than I should be
willing to accept. But any ways, I want Purityscan gone. And after running
spyware, some 200 programs are supposedly blocked. Blocked from what.
Purityscan is still there. I elected to leave Gator for the time being. I
guess Purityscan is also Winserv and it is in my startup file. YUK

SpyBot should get rid of your problem(s).

I ran SPYBOT and eliminated everything except GATOR. I'll do that later.
But Purityscan still shows up on bottom bar and is still in my startup
folder.

A couple scenarios, 'purityscan' may be related to 'gator' and that may be why
it's not "going away".

Run SpyBot in safe mode, it should get rid of Purityscan.

Give the Cexx URL and read, I Googled it up. I wouldn't go near the uninstaller
from the adware supplier - - -

I did notice that I clicked something and then I had the option to delete (I
believe) a whole bunch of cookies. I clicked something else and all the
boxes then were unchecked. Then I tried to check them all again, but could
only do it one at a time. Is there a select all button somewhere and is it
important that I get rid of those cookies?
